Nourishing children through thoughtful, balanced meals each day

A Thoughtful Approach to Nutrition

At TKG, we recognise that nutrition plays an important role in a child’s wellbeing, development and daily experience. Mealtimes are approached with care and intention — not only to provide balanced, nutritious food, but to create a positive and relaxed environment where children can connect, explore and enjoy.

Our menus are designed by Kids Gourmet Foods to support growing bodies and active minds, with a focus on variety, balance and quality. Meals are prepared either onsite by our centre cooks or delivered fresh daily, ensuring children receive nourishing food throughout the day.

We aim to create a mealtime experience that feels calm and enjoyable, encouraging independence, conversation and positive relationships with food.

What’s Included Each Day

Children are provided with a full range of meals across the day, including:

Breakfast

Morning Tea

Nutritious Hot Lunch

Afternoon Tea

Late Snack

All meals are designed to provide the essential nutrients children need to support their energy, focus and development.

Catering to Every Child

We understand that every child is different, and we take care to accommodate a wide range of dietary needs.

This includes:

  • Allergies and intolerances

  • Cultural and religious requirements

  • Individual dietary preferences where possible

Our team works closely with families to ensure each child’s needs are understood and supported, providing reassurance that their wellbeing is always prioritised.

Seasonal & Rotating Menus

Our menus are thoughtfully planned on a rotating basis and updated seasonally to reflect fresh, appropriate ingredients.

Menus are shared with families and remain open to feedback, creating a collaborative approach that reflects the needs of our community.

More Than Just Meals

At TKG, mealtimes are an important part of the daily rhythm.

They provide opportunities for:

  • Social interaction and connection

  • Developing independence and self-help skills

  • Building positive, lifelong relationships with food

These moments are approached with the same care and intention as all other parts of the day.

Food and nutrition are not treated as a routine task, but as part of a broader, considered approach to care.

By creating calm, inclusive and supportive mealtime environments, we help children feel comfortable, confident and well-nourished throughout their day.

We’d love to welcome you in.

The best way to experience our daily routines — including mealtimes — is to visit one of our centres.
